Job Title: Travel Nurse RN First Assist

ProKatchers is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN First Assist to join our team in Rochester, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Nurse RN First Assist to provide exceptional patient care in our Operating Room. As a Travel Nurse RN First Assist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during surgical procedures, monitoring patient vital signs, and providing general nursing care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians during surgical procedures, including preparing patients for surgery and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation.
  • Provide general nursing care, including administering medications, changing dressings, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license issued by the New York State Board of Nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS - American Heart Association.
  • CNOR Certification.
  • Two (2) years' Experience or experience in a level 1 trauma preferred.
  • Davinci Experience Required.
  • Robotic Urology, Robotic GYN, Robotic Colorectal, Robotic Surgical Oncology (whipples, gastrectomies, hernias, etc), Robotic Thoracic, Robotic general surgery (gall bladders, appendectomies).
