Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures and exams
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets and staff
  • Assist with administrative tasks and data entry
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest animal health and wellness information
Requirements
  • Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
