Key Responsibilities:

The individual in this role is expected to engage in various work-related tasks and fulfill all training obligations, including:
  • Zaxby's Front of House Development Program
  • Hands-on training at service stations
  • Delivering friendly and enthusiastic service to all guests
  • Warmly greeting guests upon arrival and expressing gratitude as they depart
  • Staying informed about current promotions
  • Providing detailed explanations of menu items, addressing inquiries, and suggesting additional offerings
  • Enthusiastically representing the Zaxby's brand
  • Accurately processing orders and guest transactions
  • Inputting guest orders correctly into the point of sale system
  • Handling payments, operating cash registers, and maintaining accurate receipts
  • Managing cash transactions, counting and verifying tills, and recording totals appropriately
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting environment
  • Cleaning and maintaining guest areas, including dining spaces, counters, restrooms, and exterior
  • Maintaining equipment and reporting maintenance needs to management
  • Restocking paper goods, condiments, serving ware, and beverages
  • Keeping work areas organized and tidy
  • Accurately preparing, packaging, and presenting guest orders
  • Performing other assigned tasks
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Occasional bending, stooping, crouching, or climbing, including ladder use
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting
  • Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine motor tasks
  • Effective communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to maintain effective visual and auditory perception to respond to the environment
  • Working in conditions with varying temperatures and exposure to food allergens
  • Safe operation of restaurant equipment, including knives, fryers, and other potentially hazardous tools
