Forklift Cherry Picker Specialist

This role involves operating a cherry picker forklift to efficiently retrieve and prepare orders for shipment.
Key Responsibilities:Employees will be required to:
- Operate a cherry picker forklift throughout the entire shift.
- Stand for extended periods while pulling orders from storage racks.
- Manually place items onto the forklift and navigate through the warehouse.
- Utilize RF scanners to scan labels accurately.
- Perform general labor tasks, including cleaning duties.
Applicants must meet the following physical requirements:
- Proficient in using an RF scanner, with the ability to read small print.
- Capable of remaining on their feet for the duration of the shift.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs consistently.
- Willingness to bend frequently to lift boxes and position them on pallets.
- Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (prior experience is a plus but not mandatory).
Standard working days are:
Monday through Friday
*Occasional Saturday shifts may be required, approximately once a month for a few hours.*
1st Shift hours: 7 AM to 4 PM
Compensation:Starting pay is $13.00 per hour, with an increase of $1.00 after a 90-day probationary period.
*Please note that work hours may vary based on operational needs, including mandatory overtime.*
While the scheduled end time is 4 PM, actual completion of work may extend beyond this time, particularly during busy periods, with expectations to stay until 7 PM on certain days.
