We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Whitsons Culinary Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our clients and exceed their expectations.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet demand.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Cost Control: Manage food costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.
- Sanitation and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe environment, and that all staff are aware of and follow proper sanitation and safety procedures.
- Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume food service management role is required.
- Certifications: ServSafe certification is required, and OSHA certification is preferred.
