Project Leader for Underground Utility Systems

The successful candidate will be instrumental in directing initiatives related to subsurface utilities, lift stations, stormwater management, gravity sewer systems, large-diameter pressure pipelines, and mechanical piping. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate underground utility systems projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with project schedules, budgetary limits, and quality benchmarks.
- Manage all facets of project planning, including defining project scope, resource distribution, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Engage with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution and promptly address any challenges that arise.
- Conduct regular site evaluations and progress discussions to track project milestones, resolve issues, and maintain effective communication.
- Establish and uphold safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures to ensure a secure working environment for all project participants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
- Alternatively, a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Leader in underground utility systems construction, with proficiency in subsurface utilities, lift stations, stormwater management, gravity sewer systems, large-diameter pressure pipelines, and mechanical piping.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to effectively guide project teams and nurture collaborative relationships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
