Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in a reputable healthcare institution.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care to women in labor, through delivery, postpartum, and newborn care, ensuring all aspects of maternal childcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assessments, monitoring labor processes, preparing for C-sections and inductions, and documenting nursing care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to women in labor, through delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
  • Perform assessments, monitor labor processes, and prepare for C-sections and inductions
  • Document nursing care and maintain accurate records
  • Administer IV medications and adhere to principles of infection control
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in Colorado
  • 4 years of experience in Obstetrics care preferred
  • Knowledge of labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursing care essentials
  • Principles of sterile technique and infection control
  • Skilled in technical aspects of mother/infant care
