The role of the Wealth Relationship Manager is a critical position within Citigroup Inc. that requires a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of financial planning and wealth management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with affluent and high-net-worth clients, providing them with tailored financial solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.

• Collaborate with product specialists to offer a wide range of financial products and services, including banking, credit, and investment solutions.

• Provide exceptional client service, including regular communication, face-to-face meetings, and access to educational seminars and resources.

• Identify and capitalize on referral opportunities to grow the client portfolio.

• Work closely with branch teams to ensure a positive client experience and provide support as needed.

• Stay up-to-date with regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring that all client interactions and transactions are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in financial planning and wealth management.

• Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as experience with financial planning software.

• Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies, with a willingness to continue learning and growing in the field.

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• US: Current registration for FINRA series 6, 63, and 65, with a willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed.

• Insurance group 1 required, with a willingness to obtain if not already held.

• This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before referring interested clients to Citibank for their mortgage needs.
