Patient Flow Manager

Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Patient Flow Manager to join our team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of patients through our hospital, from admission to discharge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze patient flow data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize patient flow, reduce wait times, and improve patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other hospital departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff on patient flow management and optimization.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as payers and vendors, to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing leadership or hospital operations.
- Proven track record of improving patient flow and reducing wait times.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and data analysis.
