Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Phoenix at Hammond. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals that meet the needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including full-line menu items and therapeutic diets
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a clean and sanitary environment
  • Manage food production and inventory, including receiving, rotating, and storing products
  • Maintain accurate records of food production, including temperature logs and inventory management
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to develop and implement menus and production plans
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
  • One year of job-related experience in food preparation and service
  • Current SERV Safe certification or ability to obtain within six months
