We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a travel nurse. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, triaging, and implementing care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform minor medical procedures, such as wound cleaning and dressing, and administering IV therapy.
- Document patient medical history, allergies, and vital signs.
- Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being, and provide support and education to patients and families.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the United States.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an Emergency Department.
As an ER Travel Nurse, you will be required to stand and walk for long periods of time, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. You will also be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to cope with stress and pressure.
