Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to understand their vision for floral arrangements, including flower selection and pricing.
  • Design and create arrangements based on customer specifications and recommendations from sales staff, utilizing knowledge of floral design principles.
  • Stay informed about flower varieties, their characteristics, and current design trends.
  • Select and combine floral materials to innovate and develop unique arrangements.
  • Ensure high-quality standards by discarding wilted or damaged flowers and assisting in quality control measures.
  • Prepare and condition flowers for storage.
  • Label and price finished arrangements.
  • Provide retail services including customer assistance, answering inquiries, and processing transactions.
  • Educate customers on the care and maintenance of flowers and related products.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area and store.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels effectively.
  • Create and update in-store displays to enhance the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Capable of standing, bending, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are essential.
