About the Role
Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN CVOR Operating Room to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with the Director to plan budget, staffing needs, and oversee competency of nursing staff in the CVOR.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications within 30 days of employment start date.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant CVOR Operating RN experience required.
- NH RN License or valid compact state RN license, CNOR required.
- Associate Degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
