Job Summary

The MRI Scanner Operator is responsible for operating a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various pathologies. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and positions patients accurately to produce high-quality images
  • Selects anatomic and technical parameters to optimize image quality
  • Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS
  • Maintains a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completion of Radiology program
  • No experience required
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification
  • ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification within 12 months of hire date
