Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Behavior Interventionist to join our team. As a Behavior Interventionist, you will play a critical role in implementing behavioral health treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 care directly with clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collect data related to client's progress during treatment sessions.
- Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan.
- Promote client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner.
- Minimum of 6 months or of relevant experience working with individuals; may include internships, volunteer work, or employment in related fields such as education or childcare.
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
- Reliable Transportation
- Successfully complete Live Scan background check, employment verification and TB screening
- Be able to lift up to 30lbs. While assisting consumers
- Must be able to run, bend, sit, stand for long periods at a time
- Spanish Bilingual
- BA/BS degree
- Empathy and compassion towards the families we support
- Maintains professional demeanor, boundaries, and composure
- Demonstrates effective communication, and shows ability to implement existing behavioral plans
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Competitive hourly rate: $20.00-$23.00/hourly
- Additional $1.00 for Spanish bilingual candidates
- $300.00 Hiring Bonus for part-time employees offered when 150 clinical hours are worked within 6-month
- $600.00 Hiring Bonus for part-time employees offered when 300 clinical hours are worked within 6-month
- Monday-Friday between the hours of 2:00pm – 8:00pm
- Saturdays & Sundays between the hours of 9am - 5 pm
- Cities Targeting- East LA, South LA, Commerce, Cudahy, South Gate, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park
