Overview
OSF HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Neurocritical Care Physician to join their growing practice at the Illinois Neurological Institute & OSF HealthCare. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a high-volume program with 18 beds in the Neuroscience ICU, handling approximately 1,000 stroke admissions per year.
Key Highlights
- 7 on 7 off schedule for flexibility
- Collaboration with Anesthesia, Neurosurgery, and Neurology residency programs
- Busy interventional neurology program
- Advanced neuroImaging capabilities with 3T MRI, fMRI, PET scan, CTA/CTP with AI processing, and SPECT
- OSF Saint Francis Medical Center serves as the neurological hub
Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- Doctorate degree
- Residency in Neurology and Fellowship in Neurocritical Care
- Board certification or eligibility in the appropriate specialty
- Eligibility to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
