At American Rental Association, we're seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL B Driver to join our team as a Portable Sanitation Route Service Driver.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to grow their career with a leading company in the industry.

As a CDL B driver with our company, responsibilities will include cleaning and stocking/replenishing portable toilets, holding tanks, freshwater systems, hand wash stations, and restroom-shower trailers as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing daily routes in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintaining professional customer contact and open lines of communication with the Dispatcher
  • Repairing portable restroom units onsite as necessary
  • Providing onsite moves of equipment, and pick-up/delivery as requested
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, maintaining truck logs
  • Loading and unloading units
  • Fueling vehicles and other equipment as necessary
  • Frequent customer interaction, including recommendations for any additional services and supplies needed
  • Excellent housekeeping of assigned vehicles and facility
  • Maintaining professional demeanor and appearance at all times
  • Following all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Dropping off and picking up equipment for customers

Requirements for this role include:

  • A valid Class B CDL driver's license and safe driving record
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Diligent attention to safety
  • Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial Driving Experience
  • Ability to mount and dismount trucks multiple times daily
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to drive day or night; some weekend work may be required as business conditions dictate
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving procedures
  • Work effectively in all weather conditions and customer work environments
