About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Holiday Companies. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Store Manager: Provide support to the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including hiring, supervising, and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, bookkeeping, and merchandising.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate a sense of urgency, patience, and leadership to provide fast and friendly service to our customers.
- Team Management: Lead a team of employees and management, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring, delegation and follow-up, teaching and motivating others, planning and organizing, communicating plans and ideas, and cash-handling and bookkeeping.
- Problem Solving: Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift, occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level, push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds, bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift, grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands.
