Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II Research Coordinator to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a key member of our Investigational Drug Services team, you will play a critical role in supporting research activities at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and maintain investigational studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Provide education and training to pharmacy staff on various studies and serve as a resource for staff.
  • Collaborate with principal investigators and research coordinators to ensure smooth study progress.
  • Prepare quarterly billing for pharmacy services and Investigational Drug activity reports.
  • Track enrolled patients and cost avoidance/savings from IDS studies.
  • Represent the pharmacy department in investigational drug processes and attend monthly research coordinators group meetings.
  • Implement and manage investigational drug information on the intranet and storage procedures for closed trials.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of pharmacy experience required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in infusion or hospital pharmacy preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required.
  • Academic course work in research methods or equivalent training through work experience preferred.
