About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Nuuly. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs of conveyor, electrical, building, and mechanical systems.
  • Recommend equipment upgrades and analyze operation parameters to support zero unscheduled downtime.
  • Apply technical and maintenance experience to improve and maintain facilities and automation equipment.
  • Maintain validated parameters and CMMS's during equipment operation to ensure timely release of orders and meet quality control specifications.
  • Assist in equipment-related recommendations to improve productivity, efficiency, cost control, and product quality.
  • Partner with the maintenance team to implement methods that maximize the reliability of production and/or facilities equipment.
  • Monitor and control equipment operation to ensure compliance with written SOP/CMMS guidelines.
  • Complete documentation of all inspections, maintenance, and repair work, and failures using our CMMS.
  • Participate in the assessment of semi-complex product/equipment performance and recommend modifications and/or improvements.
  • Assist in monitoring daily performance of production and/or facilities equipment and consult subordinates on technical issues.
  • Identify equipment failures that may affect performance and recommend corrective action.
  • Compile weekly and/or monthly reports to identify results as they pertain to operational standards.
  • Ensure equipment operation, maintain CMMS's, and ensure required documentation is compiled and retained.
  • Be available for emergency callbacks and flexible toward the daily start schedule and overtime requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety codes and practices for self and others throughout the plant.
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • HS diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate Degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred but not required
  • Strong PC skills including Outlook, Excel, and Software Navigation for Programming
  • Minimum of 3+ years related maintenance/facilities experience in one or multiple trades: welding, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, instrumentation, forklifts, building construction, scanners, and Automation
  • Requires 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance Experience and/or Trade Equivalent in HVAC, Electrical, Automation Support, Pneumatics, Plumbing, Schematics and CMMs Utilization
  • Ability to interpret and understand maintenance manuals and electrical equipment schematics
  • Ability to partner and support third-party vendors while onsite
  • Knowledge and experience in industrial equipment mechanics
  • Able to identify problems and articulate resolution
  • Ability to safely operate motorized equipment
