Job Summary

The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating the PI Quality Program to ensure company goals are met. This program will include Statistical Process Control (SPC) and will be taught to production staff for implementation in day-to-day production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the PI Quality Program and recommend revisions as needed.
  • Develop and implement SPC training for production staff.
  • Ensure product safety by following good manufacturing practices.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and customers to establish acceptable part specifications.
  • Provide direct supervision and training to Quality Inspectors/Technicians.
  • Manage the Calibration program and schedule for the Cross Plains plant.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis for Customer Call Reports (CCRs).
  • Interact with customers for returned parts and coordinate rework or other appropriate action.
  • Complete requirements from Corrective and Preventative Action Resolution (CPAR) Teams.
  • Stay current with new Quality Technology and recommend changes to the Company Quality Program as needed.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of quality measures & registration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Material Science or Engineering.
  • ASQ CQE designation, or progress towards same, is required.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control and other statistical analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Medical packaging experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Desire for continual learning and personal development.
  • Product validation experience.
  • Formal, direct leadership experience.
