Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Labor and Delivery RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:- Assess and care for patients in the labor and delivery unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including Pitocin, misoprostol, and other medications.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current RN license in New Mexico or compact state.
- 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NRP and AWHONN intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certifications.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred.
