- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Industrial Pipe Fitter Fabricator.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of pipe fitting techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience in industrial construction projects is essential.
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to ascertain the scope of work, including locations, quantities, and sizes of materials needed.
- Determine all necessary tools for assigned tasks.
- Recognize safety hazards and implement appropriate measures to mitigate those risks.
- Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit piping systems according to specifications.
- Install valves, hangers, supports, and flanges within the piping system in accordance with plans and applicable standards.
- Conduct tests to verify the integrity of pipes and piping systems.
- Utilize rigging equipment such as slings, chains, shackles, hooks, and cables for hoisting loads.
- Proven experience in industrial construction and maintenance.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical manuals.
- Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills are necessary for interaction.
- Good manual dexterity is required for precise adjustments of machinery components.
- Ability to use hands and arms for signaling, grasping, holding, turning, pushing, and pulling various objects and tools.
- May need to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
