Job Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role, candidates must effectively perform essential duties and demonstrate required competencies. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with healthcare providers and nursing staff in infusion centers and oncology practices to deliver comprehensive care to oncology patients.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and identifying strategies for departmental enhancement.
  • Designing and evaluating patient-specific pharmacotherapy, including patient education and medication management.
  • Preparing and dispensing medications while adhering to health system policies.
  • Contributing to the development of healthcare professionals through training and educational programs.
Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a BS or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school. A PGY1 or PGY2 residency in oncology or equivalent experience is preferred. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the applicable states.
