We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Hammonds Lane Center in Brooklyn Park, MD. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients and residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care, with an emphasis on limiting the use of overtime and agency personnel.
- Participate in staff mentorship, recruitment, new hire orientation, and recommend employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
- Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care is preferred.
- One year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred.
