Schedule and Shifts: 10 or 12-hour shifts, typically 11a-9p for ER and 7p-7a for HOS. No call shifts ensure you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Work Environment: Our hospital features a dynamic environment with a patient volume of 1-2 admits per night, 10-15 med surg patients max, and an annual ER volume of 10k. You will not be required to perform procedures.
Required Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS are essential for this role. We utilize Cerner as our EMR system.
Benefits and Support: Enjoy paid travel and lodging, board certification is required, and our ER physicians provide support during your shifts. The typical need is 11a-9p for ER APP, while HOS APP requires coverage from 7p-7a, with a maximum capacity of 21 patients on the med surg floor.
Candidate Requirements: A strong background in emergency medicine or hospitalist care is necessary for success in this position.
