Conduct a variety of assembly tasks on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems utilizing an array of electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, and cleaning devices. It is essential to interpret drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and other documentation. The technician should possess a comprehensive understanding of the products to execute diagnostic rework (or troubleshooting) on units that fail to meet testing standards. Responsibilities also include working on repairs typically associated with production units and operating hydraulic stands to perform assembly tasks, as well as setting up AMPS and 151 stages. Some testing is required following established procedures. Actively contribute to a collaborative work environment by enhancing productivity, demonstrating initiative, fostering cooperation, collecting data, and maintaining a positive attitude.
Qualifications and Educational Background:
Job Type: 1st Shift
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in using hand tools and adhering to written instructions. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in complex assembly processes.
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
Airframe & Powerplant license.
Compensation:
The hourly pay for this role is competitive; however, the compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This compensation information is provided in accordance with applicable regulations and is influenced by market location.
Additional Information:
A valid driver's license and the necessary state-required minimum vehicle insurance coverage are required to access company property.
