Job Description

Communicare, a community mental health center in North Central Mississippi, is seeking a Support Worker to join their team. The successful candidate will provide direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and support with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management.
  • Facilitate socialization and community integration, promoting independence and personal choice.
  • Transport clients to various activities and appointments, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the Communicare Treatment Team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job, including CPI certification and valid driver's license.
