We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy to join our faculty at Ithaca College. The successful candidate will have expertise in musculoskeletal/orthopedics and clinical administration to support the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
Responsibilities:- Teach physical therapy courses to students in the DPT program
- Conduct clinically driven scholarship and research
- Participate in student advising and mentorship in the on-campus clinic
- Engage in service at the Department, School, and College levels
- Academic doctorate (PhD, EdD, DSc) or ABD considered
- At least 3 years of clinical experience
- History of scholarship and active research agenda
- Commitment to excellence in physical therapy teaching and education
- Active, unrestricted physical therapy license in any United States jurisdiction and obtain physical therapy licensure in New York State by the start of employment
- ABPTS Board certification
- Teaching experience in academic or residency/fellowship settings
