About the Role
The facility is in need of an anesthesiologist to support their busy surgical schedule. The practice operates with a collaborative two-MD model, where physicians alternate between two-week on and off shifts, supervising a team of four CRNAs.
Key features of the facility include:
- Four operating rooms and one endoscopy room
- One OB operating room
- A 7-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- An 8-bed pre-operative area
The surgical cases primarily involve general B&B and OB procedures, along with a limited number of pediatric ENT cases. The surgical team comprises various specialists, including general and gastric surgeons, urologists, and an ophthalmologist.
Position Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology
- Prescriptive Authority
- Supervision experience with CRNAs
- Availability for on-call duties
