We are seeking a Recreation Coordinator to enhance the experience of our guests by providing a diverse array of enjoyable activities during their stay at our resort.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Recreation Coordinator plays a vital role in planning and executing various activities for the visitors of a Sun RV Resort.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate in the planning, organization, and oversight of events such as picnics, sports competitions, dances, and dining experiences.
- Prepare venues for events and ensure thorough clean-up afterwards.
- Maintain attendance records for each activity.
- Support the training of team members and volunteers within the Activities department.
- Distribute the weekly newsletter to residents and guests of the resort.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are well-maintained.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and guests
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet navigation
