About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Lead Information Security Analyst to join our Cybersecurity team. As a key member of our Governance and Information Protection Team, you will play a supporting role in ensuring compliance with enterprise policies and procedures.

This role will collaborate with the ISE assessor team, CIO organizations, and technology teams to identify and address security risks. You will be part of a team of cyber professionals who share a passion for cyber risk management and resolving complex security challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide context to technical and operational issues identified through our Information Security Evaluation Program, anticipating risks and providing guidance on existing enterprise solutions or partnering teams.
  2. Consult with the organization on complex security issues and findings, utilizing your expertise to inform decision-making.
  3. Participate in various business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives, aligned with our EPIC goals.
  4. Utilize independent judgment to guide technology teams through the effective use of enterprise programs to resolve and monitor identified high and moderate risks.
  5. Present recommendations for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic approaches to managing business-aligned risks.
  6. Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for your supported CIO organization.
  7. Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management, providing expert advice on security matters.
  8. Provide work direction and guidance to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff.
  9. Apply a deep understanding of Information Technology and Cybersecurity domains to inform your work.
  10. Evaluate and interpret internal and companywide information security policies, processes, standards, and participate in decision-making regarding information security.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent as demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent Information Security/Cyber Security experience.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001/27002, PCI DSS, COBIT, NIST, GLBA, GDPR.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of information security domains and a well-rounded technical background.
  • Knowledge of operational risk, IT processes, and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC.
  • Well-versed experience and knowledge across the cybersecurity domains.
  • Demonstrate clear, articulate written and verbal communication.
Job Expectations
  • Travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This is not a remote position. Candidates are required to work in the office three (3) days per week at the specified location.
