Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineering Expert to join our innovative team. This role involves technical planning, system integration, and the verification and validation of intricate hardware and software systems, particularly for communication platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and integrate physical architectures for voice, video, and data across various security domains.
- Assess and interpret electrical wiring diagrams to ensure compliance with system specifications.
- Design both physical and logical architectures for communication systems.
- Develop and sustain networks that connect airborne and terrestrial systems through various circuit types.
- Convert customer requirements into comprehensive system specifications.
- Create and implement effective verification testing procedures to validate system performance.
- Draft and maintain system-level requirements documentation.
- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Execute assigned responsibilities with efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- Possession of an active DoD Secret security clearance, with the capability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret (SCI) clearance.
- Experience in the testing, integration, and verification of software and hardware systems.
- Familiarity with communication system integration and testing support.
- Networking expertise, including IP addressing, switching, and routing.
- Proficiency in routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with aircraft communication system integration and ground/flight testing support.
- Strong knowledge in Networking and Scripting.
- Understanding of RF distribution systems and Linux-based environments.
- Familiarity with VMware, Kubernetes, SATCOM solutions, HAIPE devices, and Asterisk.
- Expertise in Model-based Systems Engineering, RF application troubleshooting, verification testing, and effective communication skills.
