About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiving Specialist to join our team at American Senior Communities. As a Caregiving Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering a warm and supportive environment for our residents, prioritizing their dignity, respect, and individualized attention.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide assistance with mobility, including transferring and repositioning to prevent discomfort and promote independence.
  • Assist residents during mealtimes, ensuring proper nutrition intake and catering to their individual dietary needs.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional well-being.

Requirements

  • A valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
  • The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
  • A strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Compensation

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid time off, holiday pay, medical, vision, and dental insurance, and opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
