Narrow Web Printing Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Label Production Manager to join our team at Marie Leising & Associates, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our label printing and converting equipment, ensuring high-quality products meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Production Employees: Lead a team of production employees in a fast-paced narrow web flexographic printing operation, including all supporting equipment in converting, rewinding, and inspection areas.
- Optimize Equipment Performance: Supervise the efficient operation of all equipment, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to maximize performance and minimize waste.
- Ensure Quality and Accuracy: Ensure accurate reporting of time and material consumption, and maintain the quality produced in all operations to meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Support Employee Development: Support the hiring, developing, training, and reviewing of all production employees, promoting safe working practices and procedures.
- Schedule Jobs and Maintain Quality: Responsible for scheduling jobs and maintaining the quality produced in all operations, ensuring that the level of quality meets or exceeds the customer requirements.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years' supervisory or management experience in Flexographic Label printing and converting operations.
- Process Improvement: Proven track record using KPIs and metrics to improve production efficiencies and reduce waste, with experience using Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing Practices in a print manufacturing environment.
- Decision Making and Communication: Excellent decision-making skills, strong leadership experience, and excellent communication skills are required.
- Employee Mentoring and Training: Strong employee mentoring and training skills, with the ability to promote safe working practices and procedures.
Starting salary range $80,000 - $100,000 + benefits, 401k, and relocation package.
