Job Summary:

The ICU Nurse will utilize the nursing process to plan and provide total, direct patient care to patients on the nursing unit according to established standards and practices. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of Alaska
  • 1 year of experience in ICU specialty
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • TNCC certification within 6 months of hire
