The successful candidate will provide outstanding patient care at St. Luke's University Health Network, a major teaching hospital and one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke's is growing, with a presence at 13 hospitals across two states. The department directly impacts the health of hundreds of thousands of women and infants in the region each year. The Maternal Fetal Medicine section is staffed by 8 attending physicians with excellent support staff.
The interested applicant will have the opportunity to engage in an active research program, including federally funded clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies. Physicians participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and hold clinical faculty appointments at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
Department Highlights:
- The team consists of 90 OB/GYN physicians and advanced practitioners with 5 core subspecialties.
- There are 24 OB/GYN residents, 2 AAGL MIGS fellows, and 1 Gyn Onc fellow.
- The AIUM-accredited ultrasound practice includes fetal echocardiography.
- There are 19 MFM sonographers, including fetal echocardiography-certified sonographers.
- Two on-site genetic counselors are available.
- The network delivers over 4,700 babies per year.
- Multiple pediatric subspecialists are available, including neonatology, cardiology, surgery, nephrology, dentistry, psychiatry, gastroenterology, endocrinology, orthopedic surgery, neurology, pulmonology, and more.
- There are 26 Level III NICU beds within the network.
- A robust diabetes and pregnancy program is available, managing all diabetic pregnancies within the network.
- Three state-of-the-art labor and delivery units are located in dedicated women and babies pavilions.
- A diverse work environment is available, including office and hospital consultation, high-risk pregnancy management, routine and detailed sonography, prenatal diagnosis, and antepartum testing.
- The GE Healthcare National Show Site for Women's Imaging is available.
- There are six office sites.
