Job Title: Registered Nurse - OB Unit

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Obstetric and Pediatric Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position with variable 12-hour shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends. You will work closely with our experienced team of midwives, OB/GYN physicians, and Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians to provide comprehensive care to expecting mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to obstetric and pediatric patients, including labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in structured self-scheduling and rotation of day/night shifts, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and a culture of excellence.

Requirements:
  • Current state RN license
  • Associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
  • Completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course or acquire during introductory period
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Certification or acquire during introductory period
