Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. As a Traveling RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics, and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient education plans to promote health and wellness.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to ensure safe and effective care.
  • Document patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans, to ensure accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
