Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly financial analysis and reporting, preparing forecasts and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Oversee inventory management, lead audits, and reconcile daily records while addressing discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, manage internal controls, and resolve any financial control challenges.
  • Maintain and update standard costs, bills of materials, and review expenses related to labor, materials, and overhead.
  • Supervise a small team of accounting professionals, manage expenditures, and engage in production meetings and facility inspections.
  • Participate in daily production discussions and conduct regular facility inspections to address production and cost-related concerns.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing financial controller or cost accounting manager role
  • Experience in team management with a focus on cost accounting, reporting, and variance analysis
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, policies, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with JD Edwards and system transitions
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA certification
