About the Role

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Machine Operator I to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment, ensuring high-quality products, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Use computerized manufacturing technologies to meet production and customer requirements, perform set-up duties on fabrication equipment, and position production materials and tooling according to print specifications.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure proper dimensional requirements are met per prints, and ensure that products and systems meet CADDY quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve equipment issues, perform specified preventative maintenance procedures, and assist Maintenance and outside sources with trouble-shooting systems.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs, maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, and support continuous improvement efforts with the Production Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of One Year Prior Experience in Machine Operating
  • Skills: Basic math skills, knowledge of all operations of the assigned production process, knowledge of safety policies and procedures, analytical thinking, problem-solving, mechanical repairs or troubleshooting, and ability to lift, slide, and shake heavy gauges of material.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Fork truck licensed or ability to obtain one.
