About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Scribe to join our team at OCLI Vision. As an Ophthalmic Scribe, you will play a critical role in supporting our providers and patients by accurately documenting real-time interactions and medical information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patient charts and rooms for exams, ensuring all necessary information is available and up-to-date.
  • Accurately document patient-provider interactions, diagnoses, prescriptions, and instructions in the patient's chart.
  • Track testing and medication orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, educating patients on testing, procedures, and prescription instructions.
  • Perform ophthalmic procedures and testing, including auto-refraction, visual acuity, and tonometry.
  • Audit patient charts to ensure accurate and complete information.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of ocular pharmacology and medical terminology is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for extended periods.
