Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Summary:
HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for planning and administering physical therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviews and evaluates physician's referral and patient's medical records to determine physical therapy treatment required.
  • Performs patient tests, measurements, and evaluations to aid in establishing or revising specifics of treatment process.
  • Plans and prepares a written treatment program based on evaluation of available patient data.
  • Administers manual therapeutic exercises to improve or maintain muscle function.
  • Instructs, motivates, and assists patients in non-manual exercises and functional activities.
  • Administers treatments involving application of physical agents such as light, heat, water, and electricity.
  • Evaluates effects of treatments and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
  • Records patient treatment response and progress.
  • Instructs patient and family in physical therapy procedures to be continued at home.
  • Confers with physician and other health practitioners to integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of patient healthcare.

Requirements:
  • Must be a licensed physical therapist in the State of Washington.
  • Must have successfully completed a Master's or Doctorate degree in physical therapy approved by the Council of Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a general hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation center preferred.

Working Conditions:
  • Normal shifts: 8-5.
  • Must be currently active in the State of Washington.
  • No guarantee of minimum hours.
