Rochester Regional Health is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and treatment for individuals with various mental health diagnoses in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and licensed mental health counselors, to provide comprehensive care.
- Prescribe medication and order consultations as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote mental health and wellness.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) in New York State.
- Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, preferably with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to work in a medium work environment, with frequent walking, standing, and squatting. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
Pay Range:
$95,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
