As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform CT scans with precision and accuracy, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct quality control tests and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other imaging professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiography.
- Current TDH-MRT license and ARRT registry required.
- Two years of progressive and relevant hospital experience in radiologic technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
This position is subject to inside environmental conditions, with moderate to high occupational risk to blood-borne pathogens.
