Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced CEI Project Manager to join our Dallas, TX office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Texas CEI projects, providing direction to inspection teams, and working closely with client project managers, teaming partners, and Michael Baker's QC/QA team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with construction contractors, owners, inspectors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee change order justifications, inspector performance, and resolution of construction issues.
  • Negotiate contracts with TxDOT and manage financial performance of the business.
  • Responsible for marketing and business development oversight, including hiring and building inspection staff for TxDOT projects.
  • Mentor and develop junior CEI project managers and maintain relationships with clients within the industry.
  • Implement CM/CEI best practices across the region for employees and staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of construction engineering management and inspection experience for transportation projects.
  • PE in Texas and TxDOT minimum experience for certification purposes under roadway and bridge construction inspection categories.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and communication skills requiring client interaction.
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Microstation/MS Project/Primavera.

Compensation

The approximate compensation range for this position is $120,818 to $188,704, dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
