As a Per Diem Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at Providence Saint John's Health Center, you will be required to submit various certification and licensure documentation as per facility and state requirements.
Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine and be able to float to other specialties as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality imaging services to patients in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and OR rooms.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems.
- Prepare and administer radioactive materials, IV starts, and other medications as needed.
- Perform cardiac stress testing, lung scans, bone scans, thyroid scans, uptake, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately and efficiently using Epic.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- 1 year of recent experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.
- AHA BLS certification.
- ARRT (with nuclear medicine specialty) or NMTCB certification.
- Epic experience required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Please note that a parking fee of $2.75 will be effective as of a specified past date.
