We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Simulation Lab Coordinator to join our team at Western Piedmont Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our simulation labs, as well as coordinating clinical experiences for our nursing students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain simulation labs, including setup, cleanup, and inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate clinical experiences for nursing students, including scheduling, site selection, and preceptorship management.
  • Develop and implement simulation scenarios and clinical experiences that meet the learning needs of our students.
  • Collaborate with nursing faculty to develop and implement curriculum and simulation-based learning activities.
  • Supervise and mentor lab assistants and work-study students.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Two years of clinical nursing practice experience; simulation teaching experience preferred.
  • Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Ability to lift 5-20 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

  • A competitive salary range of $5,662 - $6,441 monthly.
  • A 9-month contract.
