Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Interstate Companies Inc. in Billings, Montana.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel engines and components used in various vehicles and equipment. They will also be required to diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain diesel engines and components
  • Diagnose complex diesel engine conditions
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management
  • Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
  • Meet requirements for certifications

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's license
  • 3 years plus experience working on heavy duty equipment
  • Good work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability
  • Excellent understanding of Detroit Diesel engines
  • Experience with other diesel engine platforms a plus
