Mobile Donor Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Versiti Inc. as a Mobile Donor Phlebotomist. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting whole blood and apheresis products from donors while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and efficient donation experience.

• Perform phlebotomy collections of whole blood and apheresis products from donors
• Interact with donors and coordinators to provide a high level of customer service
• Operate the mobile drive vehicle and transport staff in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct donor screening, mini-physicals, and phlebotomy
• Recognize and respond to donor reactions, provide reaction care, and assist other staff as needed
• Conduct automation, including recognizing and responding to automation reactions
• Recruit and convert donors for automation
• Rebook donors for future donation appointments
• Understand and perform to all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of relevant people-facing experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with prior driving experience required
• Knowledge of standardized work routines and methods, general facts and information, and/or the use of simple equipment, machines, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret documents, apply judgment to written or oral instructions, and organize work to provide productive workflow

• $17/hour + based on experience
• 8 weeks paid training

Must have availability from 4:00am-10:00pm, including weekends and holidays. Schedules are posted 2-3 weeks in advance. Hours are determined by blood drive schedule.
